Using cPanel as a spam filter for remote mail exchangers
I recently had a question, and I wasn't able to answer it! I need answers! :p
Do any of you know of any way to use cPanel as a sort of relay where it will run a spam scan and then pass it on to the remote mail exchanger? For example:
Spam Mail -> Recieved by cPanel/Spam Assassin -> Mark as spam if required -> Deliver to External Exchange Server
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hello, There's no native support for this, but you may find the following threads helpful: Thank you. 0 -
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, those suggestions don't appear to work for me. I need this to be on an account basis due to only some accounts requiring this set up. 0 -
You may want to try the Exim users mailing list to see if anyone else has configured Exim this way: Exim Users Mailing List Thank you. 0 -
Hi LordNerd and all, Did anyone ever figure out how to clean mail on the Cpanel server via Spamassassin and then relay mail onto the customer's Exchange server? 0 -
As of yet, unfortunately not. I've resorted to building a standalone VM running Baruwa. A free spam filtering/mail relay server. This filters the emails and then delivers or quarantines on a per domain name basis where you can define the endpoint server per domain. 0 -
Thanks for your reply. Do you have a simple how-to for quickly setting up a Baruwa server and integrating for a specific domain, i.e how and where do you deliver or quarantine on a per domain name basis where you can define the endpoint server per domain? 0
