Hi, As much as I know: Suppose you have created a reseller and allowed it to create 10 domains only. Now if the reseller account is owned by root then the reseller can create 10 accounts apart from its main domain (i.e. 10 +1=11 accounts). And if the Reseller account is owned by reseller itself then the main reseller account will also be included in those 10 accounts and he can create 9 more accounts (i.e. 9 +1 =10 accounts). Thanks

Hi, This has to do with the reseller. Using a reseller allows for finer control through layers. The cPanel interface can be accessed from several accounts and the interface can be limited in many ways on an account basis. Similarly, a reseller account allows for limiting at a higher access level. This is suitable for those tying to offer a more features/control to their clients without granting root access. You can review the documentation below:

Hello, Yes, the previous posts are accurate. In addition, users often request the reseller is owned by itself so it's listed as an account under "List Accounts" in Web Host Manager when logged in as the reseller username. Thank you.
