    Hello, It's a better idea to restore the accounts from backups that were generated through cPanel or the backup script. Were any of the accounts backed up, or do you only have access to the raw data? Thank you.

    This is my problem, no backup. in the 10 years i been providing this service never had this kind of problem. The company i rent the server from, obviously made the package attractive for my to use them (never again). They have the drives from the server which they could not get going. Everytime i contact them they keep say data retrieval is going on. Its going to be the raw data I'm going to be using, hopefully All I want is to identify from the raw data state and how to move it, the folder locations of: - mysql data - website data - imap email data including location of folders that may have been created to store emails

    Hello, While some users have been able to manually restore cPanel and system related files, it's not supported and should only be attempted as a last ditch effort when no backups are available. The following thread offers some guidance on this:
