CSF Query

Hello All, Can you please let me know if we can install CSF on all Linux server OR if there has to be made an exception, How do we do it. What is it that we need to keep in mind before we enable CSF on any linux server, except cPanel servers ? Thank you,

  Appreciate your revert infopro :), i got it from the horses mouth :) Can you also please clarify, what do you mean by this statement, which says "may require custom regex patterns for some functions". What do we need to have installed on any normal Centos Server Ver.6 or 7 ? Thank you,
