Perl POST Request handling

Hello guys, I am developing a nice plugin and I need to know how to handle a POST request I am sending from html form to the .live.pl file. I saw few examples using the LWP module, however I do not understand it too much. Could you please give me some ideas. Looking forward to your reply, Chris
