Advice on new account for the same domain

Hello, I have an account (1) in my server with the following details: account username: aaa domain: aaa.som that is active and live. I have a second account (2) with the following details: account username: bbb domain: fake non existent domain that i use as a temporary account in order to create a new website. Now I want the domain aaa.som from (1) to point to the (2) account. What is the corrrect way to do it? With the less downtime? I was thinking of just modifying the domain name from (1) to a fake non existent domain and rename the fake non existent domain of account (2) to my aaa.som domain. Is this practice correct? Both accounts have the same nameservers. thank you very much

  Hello, IMO there will be less downtime using the above method. Just change the domain name, do not modify/change username as it may break the mysql database. Thanks

  Hello, Yes, this method would work. Note that it won't transfer over any account data (e.g. email, databases). Thank you.
