[Case 189665] Address Book contacts gone in Horde after WHM Upgrade to WHM 11.50.0 (build 6)
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone is having a problem with Hordes address book not showing the current email address list? My WHM was just updated to vWHM 11.50.0 (build 6) and now the address book for Horde is not displaying the list of contacts that my client has collected since he started using Horde quite some time ago. I made sure the correct address book was selected but it looks like the file just doesn't even exist anymore. The name of the address book is correct but it isn't showing any entries at all.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening or how it can be fixed?
Thank you for your help.

Hello, It's possible this is related to internal case number 189665 (When an account is owned by non root (reseller), Horde's MySQL to SQLite conversion doesn't take place). Are the accounts affected on your server owned by a reseller? Thank you. 0 -

Hi Michael, Actually it is. I didn't realize there was a case opened already. Sorry about that. I'll go and check out that case number you posted. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Richard Williams DomainMasters.NET Web Hosting0 -
Hello, Internal case number 189665 is open to address an issue where when an account is owned by itself or by a non-root reseller, it's Horde data is not migrated during the update to 11.50 when /scripts/horde_mysqltosqlite is run. As a result, Horde users do not have access to their preferences, address books, or calendars. The current workaround at this time is to temporarily set the account ownership to root; recreate and repopulate the Horde MySQL database from the last backup file; then re-run "/scripts/horde_mysqltosqlite". Note that this should only be done once, as otherwise it will overwrite users' new Horde data. You can monitor our change logs to see when a resolution has been released: 0 -
Hello A number of cases have been addressed by the current update for WHM (11.50.0.15) and some of these issues look to be similar to this one. This case number, however, is not listed in the change logs. Can you advise if case number 189665 has bee fixed with the latest update? Never mind, found the case number. Was listed as fixed on the 2015-06-09. 0 -
