Hi all, Just had a quick question i was hoping the community could help me with. Working on a script that delegates a free ip to a reseller along with setting it as a shared ip. I have everything working just as I want but I have noticed that once delegated / set as a shared ip for the reseller its still considered a free ip when using api call listips. the issue is i grab the first free ip using listips so if its not considered used then the next time the script is run it will use that same ip again. I am mainly wondering if there is something I am missing? Or do i need to "reserve" that Ip also to prevent this from happening. Hope that all makes sense if it doesn't let me know.

  Hello, Defining a shared IP address for a reseller account won't make that IP address exclusive to the reseller. I believe you are seeking a new feature that matches the following feature request:

  You could browse to: "WHM Home " Resellers " Manage Reseller"s IP Delegation" This option will allow you to restrict which IP addresses resellers are able to assign to their accounts. Otherwise, you may want to open a new feature request for the functionality you are seeking. Thank you.

  I don't think I'm looking for new functionality, as stated above this a script i'm attempting to make using the API so telling me to brows in whm doesn't really help. Thanks for trying to help anyway.

  /var/cpanel/dips/$username
