Global Filters not working
I am not sure what is happening.
I have a global filter for a particular email id. This is the enquiries email for my website. I have created a filter to forward any email to his email id, to 3 other email ids.
When I use the test message filter option, the results are fine but in reality, it is not working.
Can anyone please help?

Hello, Could you post the exact filter rule you are using (without real domain names)? Also, do see any entries in /var/log/exim_mainlog for messages sent to the email address that would indicate the filter is working? Thank you. 0 -

Thanks for the note. I have used the global filters option in the CPanel home screen and created a filter like below Any email sent to to engage@xyz.com redirect to ajoseph@xyz.com ; redirect to bjoseph@xyz.com; redirect to cjoseph@xyz.com I am not technical enough to check but when I opened up the file manager in Cpanel ( I could not find the /var folder), home : under home/etc/xyz.com/engage, I found a file called filter, The contents of it where #engdistr if $header_to: is "engage@xyz.com" then deliver "ajoseph@xyz.com" deliver "bjoseph@xyz.com" deliver "bjoseph@xyz.com" endif0 -
Hello, It looks like you only have cPanel access, and not root access. The filter looks normal, so could you report this issue to your web hosting provider so they can take a closer look? Thank you. 0 -
Thanks Michael. I tested it and the results in the test panel were all good. Teh service provider ( godaddy) also tested it anf could not find anything wrong. I am not sure why we are not getting the emails. is there any possibility that these emails once forwarded from engage@xyz.com, gets treated as spam and deleted? Thanks for your patience Joe 0 -

There are several possibilities. I suggest asking your hosting provider to review /var/log/exim_mainlog to determine the status of these messages. Thank you.0 -
