Isolate mail from primary server

We've lately had a couple of email issues (from blacklisting due to spam sent from our production server) to the dovecot connection issues. We would like to isolate our mail server from our primary server, but would still need the ability for users to create and manage their accounts from their cPanel login. Is this possible?

  Hello, It's possible to have email handled on a remote server through the use of MX records, however it's not possible to have the creation and management of email accounts in cPanel synchronized to a remote server. There's a feature request for this at:
