What does the "mysqluserstore" script do?

Hi, A quick question - what does this script do? /usr/local/cpanel/bin/mysqluserstore Thanks!

  Hello, This script generates and updates the following files: /var/cpanel/databases/users.db /var/cpanel/databases/users.db.cache You should not have to run this script manually, as it's run automatically on a cron job already. Thank you.
