Cannot upgrade due to insufficient disk space
Hi guys,
I know this has been asked before but our scenario is different:
Basically when trying to update whm, we get:
Please correct these issues and rerun updates.
[LIST]
fatal: Cannot upgrade due to insufficient disk space. Detected 0.26G. You will need at least 1.6G to install a new version of cPanel
But the thing is we have around 13GB free on the partition so this message is erroneous. We are hosting on a VPS and at a certain time we did indeed have 0.26GB free but since then the VPS has been upgraded.
The question is how to have this message removed or make the upgrade process check and get the correct free space available?
Thanks in advance

I will recommend you to try upgrading cpanel forcefully. If it not work then provide me below commands output. df -h and df -i 0 -
The forceful upgrade option has resolved the issue, thanks! 0 -
Hello :) I am happy to see the issue is now resolved. Note that often times a VPS restart is required after additional space is added to the VPS from the hardware node. Thank you. 0
