Autodiscover gives wrong mail server address

Hi, Really hoping someone can save me a lot of reading information and regurgitated information and just tell me what I am missing. I am trying to configure autodiscover on my server which hosts for several clients. It does work in that it discovers the settings for the corresponding email's domain name however it is providing the wrong mail server address. E.g. I use mail.domain.com for the mail server names manually which works fine. The autodiscover returns pop3.domain.com for the mail server which is not correct if setting up a POP3 account and imap.domain.com for the IMAP accounts. I have all of the mail services using mail.domain.com for POP3/SMTP/IMAP server name addresses. How do I make autodiscover use the correct addresses without going through some long customised configuration that is likely to break every time something gets changed? Any help would be appreciated.
