New WHM Back-ups Hung
Hi Guys,
I am a bit perplexed, I have gone through a few times and killed off any rogue processes that look to be related to back-up, but the back-ups still seem to just hang and not gather data beyond a certain point (I think homedir?).
The backup log looks like :
[2015-06-24 12:56:13 -0400] Copy custom virtualhost templates...[2015-06-24 12:56:13 -0400] Done

Server load is nearly at 0, regardless of how many times I stop and re-start the result is the same, a 0-byte tar file with a sub-folder containing the cpuser skeleton but nothing in the homedir.
Is there a lock file somewhere that I need to kill off ?

Have you attempted to manually package the account to see if the hang occurs? Run: /scripts/pkgacct 0 -
Hello, You can also try running the following command: ps auxf
Scroll down the process list and see if you notice the stage at which the backup process is hanging. You can post that stage here so we can further troubleshoot the issue. Thank you.0
