Remote DB (mariaDB) Server, PHPMyAdmin and cpanel OFFLINE message
Hello
ive installed a new server and make proper changes to connect cpanel to remote database server ( Centos 7 with MariaDB as database server) and every thing seems to be OK !
but after ive transferred accounts from old server i have some problems
( almost all databases migrated to new database server without any error )
but now
1 - in cpanel on users account when i click on mysql databases it show a red
The mysql server is offline.meesage
also in phpmyadmin of cpanel users account i get The mysql server is offline. too
also at first i had a You must upgrade to mysql 5.0.13 message on PHPmyadmin for users but phpmyadmin from WHM lunched without problem
this is happening when i tried to stop local mysql server on cpanel server with
service mysql stop
command
also chkconfig mysql off
but it will get started after a few minutes automatically
even when i stop local database server all sites have no problem as they must be ,because they are connected to remote server without problem
my question is how to solve those offline messages
and is it necessary to stop local mysql server and how could i prevent it from auto start after a few minutes ?
Thanks
