I have a reseller that just created a new account and I am getting a new alert email that I assume is from the upgrade that was just done for cPanel. I am concerned by the message that I may not have something setup right.

Hello :) Could you let us know the version of cPanel you updated to? You can check this via:
    cat /usr/local/cpanel/version
    Thank you.

Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look at this? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you.

To update, internal case CPANEL-1557 was opened to omit the effective user ID part of the new account notification when creating accounts with resellers, as the user will always have an effective UID of root. You can monitor our change logs for this case number at: Change Logs - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you.

Hello, CPANEL-1557 is still open at this time. There's currently no specific time frame on a resolution, however I've noted this forums thread in the case. Thank you.
