Park Hostname, okay?
I have server.mydomain.com as my hostname.
I want to buy an SSL for server.mydomain.com but it doesn't resolve to an account and my SSL provider want me to put a file on the hosting to verify.
If I park server.mydomain.com onto an account will it mess anything up?
Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't need to park it, you can simply create a DNS entry pointing the hostname to the servers primary IP address. 0 -
Hello :) It's not a good idea to add your hostname as an account, or to park/add it to an existing account. Instead, explain to your provider that it's the hostname of the server and it should not serve actual website content. Thank you. 0
