Frustrated with large number of bounces in mail queue

    Hello, Recipient server is blocking mails from your server as your email contains spamvertised words. You should check the header and body and make sure they contain no words which could be considered as spam. host mx.example.com [64.8.71.111] SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 554 5.7.1 [P4] Message blocked due to spam content in the message.

    i understand that but as I understand also this is a bounce back because of a fail. Unfortunately I have cleared all the emails in the queue. The emails was sent to a user on the server, it rejected the emails and did a "fail: This means they sent email to someone on my server, it rejected and then got a bounce back. HA. The problem however is this sort of thing fills up the queue and is not deleted.

    my bad. email sent to user. user had a forward on. Email marked SPAM and emails forwarded to external (like gmail) external refuses email and sends it back. you get the point. seems a round robin. But still emails stays in queue, never gets deleted unless host admin deletes them. should I write a script to check queue and delete if exceeds so many?

    Hello :) I suggest enabling the following option under the "Apache SpamAssassin Options" tab via "WHM Home " Service Configuration " Exim Configuration Manager": "Do not forward mail to external recipients if it matches the Apache SpamAssassin" internal spam_score setting" Thank you.

    Are you sure the option referenced in my reply is greyed out, and not the option below it? Is SpamAssassin enabled on your system? Thank you.

    It's disabled because the option below it at the bottom is enabled. You can disable it and switch to the option above it so the internal spam_score setting is utilized. Thank you.
