EasyApache hangs while upgrade

I attempted to update apache to 2.4 and php 5.5 via whm but it hangs at Downloading '/var/cpanel/perl/easy/Cpanel/Easy/Apache/2_4.pm.tar.gz' It's been an hour already and I still have it running in the background not sure if it's safe to close it.. Thanks

  You can close out your browser running EasyApache and it will continue in the background. You might try clearing your browser cache and then revisit EasyApache in WHM. IIRC, there will be a message of some sort stating its still running.

  I spoke with support via ticket and what caused it was nginxcp. After moving the dir nginx/mod_rpaf out of /scripts/after_apache_make_install easyapache worked again. Cheers
