cPanel is unable to verify that this server is an authoritative nameserver for

Hi, I am currently pointing subdomain.domain.com with a A record from one cPanel server to another cPanel server, but I need to send emails properly from subdomain.domain.com, using Mandrill. I need to setup DKIM and SPF, but I get this error in my cPanel for the subdomain.domain.com "In order to ensure that SPF or DKIM takes effect, you must confirm that this server is an authoritative nameserver for subdomain.domain.com" Is there a method to complete this using a subdomain.domain.com instead of a domain.com? Thanks.

  Hello :) The issue is that the proper DNS records won't get configured by enabling that option in cPanel because the DNS for the subdomain is handled on the source server. Instead, you should add the SPF/DKIM records on the cPanel server where the DNS for the associated domain name is handled. Thank you.
