MySQL 5.5 to 5.6
Hi,
I am having exactly the same problem, after running MySQL upgrade via WHM from 5.5 to 5.6 I started getting rpm compatibility warning from the cpanel server. I too (foolishly) ran
to try and resolve the problem, but this just reinstalled the MySQL 5.5 rpms, and now the database is broken with various "Incorrect information" in some .frm files. I tried to run the MySQL upgrade to 5.6 again but now throws up:
Do I need to open ticket for this to be fixed? Was there a solution other than having to try and fix a corrupted INNODB database? And does this mean that the upgrade script in WHM is buggy and should not really be used on production servers?

Hello :) Do you notice any specific error messages in your MySQL error log (/var/lib/mysql/$hostname.err) when restarting MySQL? Thank you. 0
