I can't connect to my cPanel, is it possible that it is down??

  Sure it's possible. No one on these forums would know about that though, you'd have to ask your Hosting Provider.

  Check the cpanel service status if you have root access
  /etc/init.d/cpanel status

  Hello :) It's typically a good idea to consult with your web hosting provider first if you do not have root access to the server, as InfoPro mentioned. You can also try connecting over the IP address to determine if it's an issue with your domain name resolving to the correct IP address. Thank you.
