Cpanel Backup Ignores Some Accounts!
I configured my cpanel/WHM to take backups and transfer them to my new backup server, but when the backup process completed I found out that it skiped or ignored some of my accounts during backup process.
I've double checked "Backup User Selection" page and seems that all accounts are enabled but cpanel still ignoring some of my accounts.
What could be wrong with my cpanel?
Any help would be appreciated

Check your backup logs at `/usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/'. You can search the log for the usernames that have not been backed-up: grep usernamehere /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/recentlogfilenameher
You can also use the before(-Bn) and after(-An) flags with grep to provide n(umber) lines before or after for some context.0 -

I already checked the backup logs None of those usernames are not mentioned there0 -
Hello :) Do you notice any errors at all when scrolling through the backup logs? Thank you. 0 -

Hi Michael There are no errors in backup logs Legacy backup is working fine but regular backup is ignoring some accounts0 -
Please browse to: "WHM Home " Backup " Backup User Selection" Click on the check box on the upper right of the interface that lists the accounts. Choose "Disable All Backups", let it process, and then choose "Enable All Backups". You can force a backup generation to see if this helps via: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup --force
Thank you.0 -

The issue has been resolved I found that the accounts are suspended and the "Backup Suspended Accounts" option in backup configuration is disabled! That's why they ignored by cpanel. Thanks everyone 0 -
I'm happy to see the issue is now resolved. Thank you for updating us with the outcome. 0
