Cpanel Backup
I am getting ready to completely wipe the hard drive of my dedicated server and was wondering if its possible to somehow copy/backup my cpanel configuration and load that onto the freshly formatted server to avoid the whole cpanel setup process and having to reconfigure my domain name for the site on my dedicated server, etc.

Thanks! Based on the following text pulled from that forum link : ". The new server will log into your old server, package your accounts, and copy them over. The transfer tool is documented here:"
I am not moving to a new server but taking the same server and restarting it from scratch. Am I unable to save the accounts and their settings before formatting the hard drive?0 -

Hello :) You simply need to download the backup archives and build profiles to your computer or another machine instead of transferring them to a new server. You can then upload them to the server after it's been formatted and the new cPanel installation has completed. Remember to backup your accounts through the cPanel backup options as opposed to simply downloading the home directories. Thank you.0
