new, cur, tmp direcories difference?

    Hi :), These are the folders/directories of the default email address of the cPanel user account. Like if your cPanel user is "cpuser" then that email address would be "[EMAIL='cpuser@yourdomain.com">cpuser@s[/EMAIL]erver.hostname.com". You can find the INBOX of the default email address in your cPanel >> Mail >> Webmail.

    Hi, Directories "/home/cpaneluser/mail/cur" and "/home/cpaneluser/mail/new" stores the mails which sent to default mail account (cPanelUser@serverhostname.tld). All the unread/new mails stored in directory "new" and all the read mails stored in directory "cur". Not sure about "tmp" directory, Maybe it is used to store some temporary files/mails. Thanks
