webmail login without @domain

Hi. Can I login to webmail with just my username? (chiptape instead of chiptapa@domain.com[/EMAIL]) thx.

  Hello, You cannot do that as cPanel will try to recognize it as default username which doesn't exist either way.

  Hello :) You must use the full email address as the username due to the nature of how email accounts are authenticated. Thank you.
