cpanel partitions

hi there I got a providers provided my server with the following whm/cpanel I have been using vps cpanel and usually I get a larger main large partition with /home /backup /tmp all together how new dedicated server with the following setups . is it more optimised for cpanel ? I still prefer combining /backup /home /tmp together any suggestion ?
