Best way to compile SASS with cPanel
I am just wondering what people recommend for compiling SASS on cPanel servers or providing end cPanel users for compiling SASS.
I've been mostly using Ruby with Ruby Gems: compass, sass & bootstrap-sass and then using "compass watch" command. The main problem with this, is that I can't seem to update these Ruby Gems to the latest versions anymore as they need Ruby version >= 1.9.3 (Doesn't seem to be supported by cPanel).
The other approach I have taken is to install NodeJS & Grunt. This is working relatively well, but also I needed to install third party RPMs. I wrote a blog about it here: https://www.otherdata.com/blog/installing-nodejs-grunt-and-bower-cpanel-and-centos-or-cloudlinux
It would be nice if there was a supported way from cPanel to support compiling SASS. It is becoming quite popular in front end website development.
