Sending email from a remote script
Hi,
I want my cPanel server to allow remote machines to send email through it authenticating through domain user password.
I have turned domain password authentication in Tweak settings, but emails are not being sent when I use server IP as host and domain user and password in my remote email sending script.
Is there any thing else I need to configure/open in my cPanel? Please suggest.
Thanks,
-
I use server IP as host and domain user and password in my remote email sending script.
What happens when you use the actual domain, full email address of the user sending the email and his password?0 -
Email does not reach, I even can not see that email in mail queue. Please help. 0 -

Ok, But please just confirm that if I can connect to my cPanel server's SMTP to send emails by connecting through a SMTP script placed on a remote website using my cPanel account's user and password? Is it possible in cPanel? If yes, then please just write things which I need to do in cPanel, will solve script issues myself. Thank you so much. 0 -
When I try to send from that remote web, I get "no host name found for IP address REMOTEIP" Please let me know how to cure this. Thanks 0 -
