How do you monitor the EXIM queue size?

One of the signals that you have a compromised account is that your exim queue size has increased so I was wondering if other fellow server admins monitor that, and if they do how? I found this article so I was thinking of making some kind of script for running them. serversitters.com/exim-mail-queue-commands.html Any better idea?

  Hello :) I believe CSF includes a feature that notifies you when a user sends a set number of emails, but as far as a notification for the queue, there are no existing solutions that I'm aware of. You can vote and add your feedback to the following feature request:

  You are correct, when I hired configserver guys to do their firewall configuration service on one of my servers, they configured an email alert to be sent when the email queue size reached a big size. However I don"t know how they do that
