    Hello :) It's possible the /etc/crontab file on your system is corrupted. Try backing up the file, and then edit it to ensure there are no corrupted entries (you may need to delete the contents of the file and repopulate it). Thank you.

    Thanks that's exactly what the problem was. Re-created the file in the proper file format and that corrected the problem. I used the wrong editor it put some extra characters in the file causing the problem.
