Can't modify or delete file

Hi, The peace be upon you. I am having trouble with editing code of my website. I can't modify or delete any file. Every time i change the value of the css code that i want to modify and save the file, but nothing changed. I download the file and delete this from directory but after re-enter file manager i saw its still there. How can i make those file editable? My website is a Ecommerce website and Built with Magento CMS. TIA

  Hello :) Have you tried editing the file via the command line? If so, do you notice any error messages when saving the file? You may need to report this issue to your web hosting provider if you do not have root access to the system. Thank you.
