If you have cloudlinux installed you can do the following: Try changing the line to: lve_suwrapper XX /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/cpbackup Where XX is LVE ID. You can use any number you want, like 50. Then use that number to monitor/adjust limits, like: lvectp set 50 --cpu=50 --ncpu=100 --io=2048 etc.. Worked for me.

  I am using cloudlinux with pigz will this command reduce pigz resources? How do I get the lve ID? or how can I remove the porgram from the suwarpper so it can use all resources? Regards

  Hello :) I believe the original poster is referring to an alternate method of controlling the resources of the backup script. Are you experiencing an issue with pigz or backups in general? Thank you.
