***UNCHECKED*** in the mail subject line
Hi,
I use the SpamAssassin filter in cPanel. I noticed that emails from domains on my White List now show "***UNCHECKED***" in the title. I have tried to resolve the issue from my side. I have verified logs. Then I realised that the mails coming from the domains that are not whitelisted also shows the ***UNCHECKED*** tag.
What does the UNCHECKED tab means ? Is it possible to remove the ***UNCHECKED*** text ?
I have tried disabling "SpamAssassin" and verified meanwhile I can see I am still receiving mails with unchecked tags. This shows this tag is not coming from SpamAssassin.
I Googled and found that probably this type of issue arose when the Clamd/ClamAv service is stopped in the server. I have cross checked this Clamd service was already working. Just tried restarting it. The issue still persists. Let me know how this can be solved ? Any clue ?

Hello :) Do you notice this subject on all emails, even in Webmail? Or, is it isolated to a specific email application on your workstation? Thank you. 0 -
Hi, Thanks for the update. I have checked the same with all the mail clients available in cpanel. The issue is noticed with roundcube and squirrel mail. Meanwhile hord is not having the issue. I have checked the logs and I can see T="***UNCHECKED*** JAFCO MAPP Class Invitation" the unchecked tags added in logs also 0 -
Are you using any email gateway or SPAM appliance that accepts emails before they reach your server? Thank you. 0 -
Hi, Nope I am not using any kind of email gateways. Only spam detection mechanism used is spamassasin. 0 -
