Change DNS zone ownership
Hi!
Is there any way to change the owner of a DNS zone? I have two zones manually created and asigned to "root" that I want to change to a cPanel account user.
Thanks in advance,
Pablo

Pablo, You will need to go into SSH and modify the file: /var/cpanel/users/CPUSER Replace CPUSER with the cPanel user you want to add the DNS Zone to. Example: BACKUP=1 BWLIMIT=78643200000 CONTACTEMAIL=email@domain.com CONTACTEMAIL2= DEMO=0 DNS=domain1.com DNS1=domain2.com DNS2=replaceme.com FEATURELIST=default HASCGI=1 HASDKIM=1
DNS2=replaceme.com You would add that line with whatever the domain is. Once done, make sure to run this:/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/updateuserdomains0 -
Thanks! It worked. 0 -
