Backup web site before terminiating

Hi, When web site is terminated with WHMCS (API), i want to take a backup before removing the web site, so i have latest copy in case needed. If i add following code to
/scripts/pkgacct "$@"
/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/prekillacct Will it take a backup before terminating account ? Thanks, Yujin

  Yujin, Looks like it should, but why not just test it, add it to the script, create a new test account, then terminate it :)

  I don't want anything goes wrong on a production server :) Hope some at cpanel can confirm..

  Hello :) One potential issue to consider is the size of the account. A large account may take some time to backup, leaving the termination process hanging. Have you considered increasing the frequency of your scheduled backups as an alternative? Thank you.

  yes, the size of account matters a lot. You should consider to have schedule backups than taking up backup at the time of termination. Most of the production servers do have backups, depends on the its setup however. But taking the backup at the time of termination is not good idea i guess.
