entropychat will not turn off...

Hi, for some reason this service will not disable, it says its off in WHM Service Manager, but i keep getting LFD emails saying is still running, i have notified CSF as well, hoping either one will get back to me as to why. even tried killing the process but no joy.

  Hello :) What version of cPanel is installed on your system? Have you verified the process reported by LFD is active via the "ps" command? Thank you.

  sorry to revive this thread... I'm having the same problem. Running : CENTOS 7.1 x86_64 standard " WHM 11.50.2 (build 0) (peer1 based dedicated server) PS says: 24049 ? S 0:00 entropychat and yes, it is disabled in the service manager as well.

  Internal case CPANEL-1798 is open to address an issue where EntropyChat is enabled in new installations. There's currently no time frame available on a resolution, but you can monitor our change logs for this case number to see when a resolution has been implemented:

  Could you confirm the /etc/entropychatdisable touch file exists on your system? Thank you.
