Migrating server to new hostname/ns

Hi, We are rebranding our business and as a result want to slowly change the name servers and the hostname of our server... I also want to keep the old domain in operation so that clients using it don't encounter any problems. I have 2 NS records added for our main domain, is it possible to had new NS records for the new domain on the same IPs as the old domain? so that new clients can start using ns1.newdomain.com and ns2.newdomain.com .. but still allowing clients who are already using ns1.olddomain.com and ns2.olddomain.com to continue doing so ?? .. The second step of the migration will be changing the hostname from server.olddomain.com to server.newdomain.com A lot of my clients use server.newdomain.com to connect to SSL email so it still needs to work as normal.. I have already setup ns1/ns2 name servers at my domain registrar and have added it to my server as a domain. I have also applied an SSL certificate to the domain.

  Yes you can. Just make sure to register the new domains at your registrar using the same IP's and add the A Records for the name serves in the DNS zone in WHM on the new domain. This will allow you to use those name servers, if you want all new accounts to use those name servers, make sure to go into "Basic cPanel & WHM Setup" in WHM scroll to the bottom and update the name servers. The old name servers will still work without issue. As far as the old hostname, you will want to go into "Manage Service SSL Certificates" to install the new SSL for your cPanel services but the you will also want to go into "Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain" and reinstall the certificate onto the old domain, you will need to specify the server IP since this will not have an account to bind to. Make sure "Enable SNI for Mail Services" is checked so the mail will continue working as is.

  Thank you both for the replies, the name servers worked perfectly, will migrate the hostname soon.
