FTP connection: Connection refused

Hey all. I recently bought a domain and had it point to example.com. They don't seem to have forums anymore but seem to be connected with you guys since I use cpanel.example.com to log in to my website host. Once logged in to 0hosting, I click "FTP access" and am provided with a FTP host, ip, port, username and password. I'll use FileZilla to upload files to my site. Entering the provided FTP information there, trying to connect, I receive the following message: "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". I tried using the IP + port, host url + port, host url and the correct username and password. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.

  That company is not connected to cPanel, although they do apparently use cPanel software on their servers. If you're unable to connect to an account on their servers, you'd need to contact them about this.
