Cannot receive email with our add on domain
Ok just got blown off by my provider. We are unable to receive any emails addressed to our add-on domain email addresses. Our main domain works perfectly fine and I can create new addresses via the CP panel in our main domain and it works fine.
But the same procedure under our add on domain results in emails servers rejecting and claiming the address is unknown. I was able to send and email from our sub domain but it was addressed on my receiving account as coming from our defualt main domain.
The answer I got from my provider was well Google handles all your mail so you should ask them??
I am far from an expert but I am pretty sure something is not configured right with our account.
Any helpful suggestions?

I'm far from an expert and have been asking for help on subjects similar to this. But have you set up your DNS zone correctly? I had a similar problem and I was missing some info in there. 0 -
Hello, If you are using google mx record for your domain then you will receive all mails on your google account. But just check your addon domain mx record through cPanel >> MX Entry >> Select domain >> and enable Remote Mail Exchanger. 0 -

So yes apparently when I set up this domain email I chose the google app. Now I think this was a mistake and apparently I did even setup an account with google, Duh. Anyway I want to delete this and go back to the local server option like our main domain is. So far I have disabled the google app via the Cpanel but I think the DNS address needs to be updated. I guess I am going to open a new ticket with my ISP. But thanks for the info it helped me track down the problem.0 -

Hello :) You can edit your MX records directly via cPanel as long as the domain name in question uses name servers associated with the cPanel server:0
