How exactly can I download DB backup for a specific date? Thanks

  You won't be able to do that as a Website owner. From Within your cPanel you can generate and download a current backup of a Database only. Or, download a Full Account Backup, if enabled by your Hosting Provider. There may be a listing on a menu of current available backups to choose from in the Backups area. If there is, you should be able to grab one of those and pluck the Database from the backup. Even then, you may only have a week or so of backups to choose from.
