Outboud Email Messages to 3rd Party (Smart Hosting)

Hi We have a VPS server with hostgator and a email hosting service. We are receiving a ton of spams, and we decide to try a 3rd party spam filtering. We could manage to send the inbox trafic to the cloud, but we were unable to configure the outbound messages. We want to filter the incoming and outgoing messages. Does someone knows how to accomplish this?
