    This has been fixed in CPANEL-2152 (CPANEL-2055 is a duplicate of this case) As soon as it is published, it will show up on changelog.cpanel.net

    Hello, I'm having the same issue. Where should I best apply the manual fix mentioned above?
    export PIGZ="--rsyncable"; /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/cpbackup
    Do I add it to e.g. my precpbckup script?

    To update, the resolution is now available in cPanel version 11.52.1.0 and newer: Fixed case CPANEL-2152: Ensure pigz is called with the rsyncable flag. Note this version is not yet released to the "Stable" and "Release" build tiers. The suggested workaround in the meantime is to temporarily change the update preferences on the affected systems to the "Current" build tier after reading about the different tiers at:
