Exim RPM Notification
Hello all, this is my first post so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section or if this has been answered already.
The e-mail states this:
The system detected problems with the following cPanel-provided files that the RPM controls:
RPM Status Additional Information
exim,4.86,1.cp1148-/etc/antivirus.exim Broken missing c
If you did not make these changes intentionally, execute the following command as the root user to correct them:
Thanks!

Hello :) Please post the full output from: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms
Are you using any third-party applications that work with Exim such as MailScanner? Thank you.0 -
Hey Michael, thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what you mean by full output, but I am not sure if I am using any third party scanners. Here is the full e-mail that I have received: The system detected problems with the following cPanel-provided files that the RPM controls: RPM Status Additional Information exim,4.86,3.cp1148-/etc/antivirus.exim Broken missing c If you did not make these changes intentionally, execute the following command as the root user to correct them: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix This notice is the result of a request from "rpmcheck". Can anyone help me out please?
@cPanelMichael stated previously that you'll need to provide the output from/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms
before anyone can give proper advice. You'll need to run that command from an SSH Terminal connected to your server. After providing the output from that command user may be able to provide more insight to your issue. Good luck!0 -
I'm not sure what you mean by full output
Hello :) This simply means to run the command and let us know what comes up on the screen. Thank you.0 -

Hey Michael thanks for the reply, however I do not know how to run the command at all. I know I've received instructions to run said command from an SSH Terminal, but I do not even know what an SSH Terminal is. Is there any way you provide specific instructions so I will be able to do this? I am very worried about someone hacking into my server. Thanks.0 -
