AddonDomain::deladdondomains problems
Hello all,
Im having a very hard time making the api :deladdondomains to work,
in the sense that the result is always " You do not have control of this domain"
Ive tried root (auth) + cpaneluser (api call), Ive tried root+root, cpaneluser+cpanel user.
I tried the same variation via 2082 and 2086...
I was able to find older threads mentioning the arg 'subdomain'=> for
::deladdondomain is different than the same arg on :addonaddondomain ...
my understanding is that the param is
domain => $addonsubdomain
subdomain -> subdomainTrimmed + _maindomain.tld
so for something.com as the account main domain,
somethingnew.ca as the addondomain, the
above would be
'subdomain' => somethingnew.ca
'domain' => somethingnewca_something.com
or did I get it wrong ?
also is there a manual process to remove an addondomain that was inserted
by :addondomain, but does not show in Cpanel ( but shows in whm, it shows it belongs to the cpanel user in question ) .....
not visible in cpanel, and yet if I manualy try to add it will stop halfway through, i suppose there's
trace of it in some .db or ???
and yes the name server (parent ) is pointing to my server ..
i tried the whoowns but i couldnt get the script to run.
please, anyone ? i has taken me 3-4 days for each of the api calls to work .. ive done 7 now, and this is the lsat one .. but i cant seem to get around this "You do not control this domain"
many thanks in advance, kind regards from Canada.

ps: Im not a reseller, just one account on cpanel, root whm .. all domains
are under one account, im the care taker of a large domain portfolio and developing a tool-box ... the hosting account is not shared, it is a VPS, of which I have root too.

Hello, Thanks for contacting us. Could you open a support ticket? I'd like to get more specific information about this but a public forum isn't an appropriate venue. Please visit cPanel Customer Portal. Thanks, David Nielson Integration Developer, cPanel 0 -
