SSL Installation CA Bundle Validation
Hi Guys,
We've been working over the last year to build a custom front-end for our WHMCS to better suit our product offerings and one of the things we are doing is building an SSL certificate installation interface.
I've always liked the way that cPanel validated 'onchange', the SSL certificate parts; We have been able to validate the CRT and PRIVATE KEY via PHP's open_ssl modules, but are a bit stumped on how to go about validating the CA BUNDLE chain. Can anyone point me to what file cPanel has the validation code in place so that we can use it as a point of reference ?

Hello :) The available WHM API 1 functions for SSL are found under the "SSL" section at: Guide to WHM API 1 - Software Development Kit - cPanel Documentation It should fail when installing the certificate if the CABundle is not valid. Thank you. 0 -
Hi Michael, I wasn't looking to make use of the API, was looking for which source file/script contained the validation or JS script (etc). 0 -
I don't believe that functionality is available for use through our API or outside of the user interface. You can open a feature request for this via: Submit a Feature Request Thank you. 0
