my website won't show up

Hello everyone i bought a cpanel dedicated server lincense, installed it on my dedicated server and everything works properly, but the problem is that when i upload file in root/public_html it doesn't show up on my domain name domain.com meanwhile when i make a client account and upload the files in /home/client_id/public_html it shows up on my domain name domain.com/~client_id/, so how could i make it work from /root/public_html to show up at domain.com

  You should create domain.com account. You don't put websites in root/public_html on a cPanel server.

  Also you have to configure your domain nameserver.
