Restoring Email from backup for specific folder

Hi, Ive had a look but cant see any straight forward answers, so please could someone help? We need to restore email for one specific folder from last nights back up. Is this possible? And if so how? Thank you, any help is much appreciated. Andy

  Hello :), You have root access of your server so you can restore your mail account sub folder through command line. If you have backup in .tar.gz format, then first of all you will have to extract that backup file and rsync your directory which you want to restore from backup to user mail directory.
