SMTP Sender IP is not servers ip address
Hello,
Some of our customers emails are returning back because of negative ip reputation, after this problem I found that sender ip addresseses is not from our servers.
I changed exim configurations,
"Send mail from account"s dedicated IP address" is not working,
I modified "/etc/mailips" is not working,
I resetted Exim configuration, is not working,
with every settings, emails are sent from customers ip addresses, not our servers
because of this situation we have errors from remote servers like
Delivery Host: cluster8.eu.messagelabs.com
Delivery IP: 85.xxx.xxx.x
Size: 18.03 KB
Result: SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: 501 Connection rejected by policy [7.7] 3814, please visit www.messagelabs.com/support for more details about this error message.

Hello :) It's normal for a remote mail server to detect the IP address of the actual sender, as that information is often headed to the message header by the email client the end-user utilizes. Thank you. 0
