    Also another question: given that mails from example.com and anotherexample.com point to 123.456.xxx.xx (where WHM & cPanel are installed) and the reverse dns (PTR) of 123.456.xxx.xx resolve to anotherexample.com, will this cause any problems for example.com e-mails?

    Hello :) You need to add the MX record for "example.com" itself. Some mail servers may detect the RDNS mismatch, so it's important for RDNS to match the mail server name. Thank you.
